Randall C. "Randy" Petrey

Randall Clayton “Randy” Petrey, age 73, of Wilmington, died Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Bethesda North Hospital with his family by his side.  He was born January 2, 1945 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Lonnie and Grace Horton Petrey.  Randy was a member of the Blanchester Community Church.  Randy was a loving family man who is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann (Kairn) Petrey, to whom he married March 28, 1964 in Morrow, Ohio; daughter Angie Petrey Henderson of Clarksville; granddaughters, Jennifer Henderson and Heather Henderson; great grandchildren, Rylee Rae, Charlee, Lilee, and Gage; sister Shirley and her husband Jim Creek of Lebanon; and brother Phillip and his wife Cynthia Petrey of Amelia.  In addition to his parents, Randy is preceded in death by his son Randall C. Petrey, Jr. in 1989; and grandson Derrick Wayne Petrey.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Randy’s brother Phillip Petrey and John Holbrook will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  In accordance to his wishes, cremation will take place following the service.  Immediately following the service at the funeral home, family and friends are invited to a social gathering and meal at Blanchester Community Church, 131 West Main Street, Blanchester.
