Willis Robert Marksberry, Sr.

Willis Robert Marksberry, Sr., age 80, of Wilmington, died Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital.  He was born April 29, 1937 in Covington, Kentucky the son of the late Walter and Myrtle Byrd Marksberry.  He was an over the road truck driver seeing 37 of the United States; had retired from Arhesty, and had worked at Bob Evans.  Willis loved being with his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed gardening and fishing.  He is survived by his wife Cheryl E. (Robbins) Marksberry; children,  Paul (Amanda) Mandelstein of Clarksville, Jarrod (Heather) Mandelstein of Blanchester, Joseph Mandelstein of Columbus, Kimberly Marksberry of Cincinnati, Willis (Rose) Marksberry, Jr. of Blanchester, Pamela (Steve) Mueller of Cincinnati, and Michael (Kris) Marksberry of Florida; several grand and great grandchildren; brother Ernie (Mary) Marksberry of Kentucky; sister Loretta Watters of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Walter Marksberry, Jr., and one sister Gloria Marksberry.  Visitation will be held Monday October 23, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.   Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  For more information or to sign our on-line register, please visit www.arehart-brown.com or see our Facebook page at Brown Funeral Home.
