Bruce Kevin Watson

Bruce Kevin Watson, age 50, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.  He was born July 12, 1967 in Wilmington, the son of Roy Roger and Alice A. Sparks Watson.  Kevin was a member of Southside Praise and Worship in Hillsboro, he loved following his children’s ball games, he followed NASCAR, and enjoyed building racecars. In his words, “If I can give anyone any advice, it would be come to church”.  He is survived by his wife, Toyia LeAnn Ross Watson; mother Alice Watson of Sabina; children, Keshia (Roger) Hernandez of Jeffersonville, Kortney (Chemo) Rico of Washington C.H., Kasey (Randy) Wisecup of Sabina, Javen (Emily) Spencer of Hillsboro, Kayden Watson of Hillsboro, and Kira Watson of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Jose Levi Pineda, Mia Hernandez, Ariana Rico and Ealynn Wisecup; brother Brian Watson of Texas; sister Teresa (Kirby) Smith of Sabina; sister-in-law Jessica (Aurelio) Ortiz of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father Roy Roger Watson; infant brother Roy Roger Watson, Jr,. and father in law Denny "Doc" Ross.  Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Southside Praise and Worship Center, Hillsboro.  Pastor Mike Brown will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.  Memorial donations are directed to the Southside Praise and Worship Center, 621 S.
