Connie Jo Shattuck, age 60, of Wilmington, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She was born September 28, 1958 in Xenia, Ohio the daughter of the late James Rice and Mildred E. Grimsley Deaton. Connie was a graduate of East Clinton High School. Connie is survived by two daughters, Jackie Renee (Michael) Francis and Jamie Nicole Shattuck, both of Wilmington; six grandchildren, Alan, Cody, Daisy, Caleb, Zayden, and Mary; on brother, Gary Deaton; one sister Patti Mailloux; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her husband John Paul Shattuck on December 24, 2015, they had married April 3, 1981, and one sister, Linda Spurlock.
