John Matthew Peacock, age 41, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, January 19, 2019 near Hillsboro. He was born July 5, 1977 in Hillsboro, the son of Charles E. and Stella Allgood Peacock, Sr. John was a member of Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1161, and was an employee of Seal-Tite in Hillsboro. John is survived by four children, Sasha (Justin) Conley of Florida, and John Peacock, Jr., Tylan Peacock, and Darrien Peacock, all of Hillsboro; his mother Stella Burns of Hillsboro; siblings, Tracey (Billy) Stone of Hillsboro, Charles (Alicia) Peacock, Jr. of Greenfield, Glenn (Lee Lee Young) Peacock of New Vienna, Nathan (Elvira) Burns of Hillsboro, Angel Burns of New Vienna, Charles Benjamin Burns of Hillsboro, Robert (Wendy) Peacock of Wilmington, Brandy Peacock of Wilmington, and Andrea Peacock of Wilmington; grandmother Nora Allgood of Portsmouth; step-father Charles Burns of Fairborn; step-mother Donna Curtis of Wilmington; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Charles Peacock Sr.; two daughters, Brionna and Johna Peacock; grandfathers, Willie Allgood and Charles “Bookie” Peacock; uncles James Allgood, Robert “Bobby” Allgood, and William Allgood; nephew Braden Peacock; and cousin Jerry Musser. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home, 237 W. Main Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. Burial will follow in Gist Settlement Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
