Johnny Shockley, age 61, of Middletown, died Friday, January 18, 2019 in Middletown. He was born October 7, 1957 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of the late Elmer B. and Helen Myers Shockley. Johnny was a longtime employee of James Wells working at Advance Delivery Service Inc. He is survived by four children, Shane (Tiffany) Shockley of Goshen, Darlene (Thomas) McIntyre of Franklin, Rebecca (Ben) Lester of Middletown, and Isaiah (Chelsea) Lester of Middletown; 10 grandchildren, Cameron Shockley, Katelynn Belle Shockley, Sophia McIntyre, Vada McIntyre, Aaden McIntyre, Asher McIntyre, Thomas Johnny McIntyre, Novaleigh Balon, Ezzymae Lester and Everly Lester; five siblings, Elmer “Pancho” (Carolyn) Shockley of the Philippines, Kathy Shockley of Franklin, Judy (George) Greer of Tennessee, Donald (Dawn) Shockley of Tennessee, and David (Jennifer) of Clarksville; and friends Mitchell and Delores Dezarn of Middletown. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Terry Shockley. Graveside services will take place at Shockley Cemetery Tennessee at a later date. Local services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home, 237 W. Main Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
