Oaklen Evan Edwards, infant son of Chelsea Lee Nadeau and Charles Evan Edwards passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati with his family by his side. He was born February 20, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Oaklen is survived by his parents, Charles Edwards and Chelsea Neadeau of Port William; sisters, Alexis Stamm, Brooklyn Nadeau, and Charlie Edwards; brothers, John Edwards, Gage Beatty, and Parker Edwards; maternal grandparents Melisa and Kenny Younker of Port William, and John and Shelley Nadeau of Dayton; paternal grandparents, John and Debra Edwards of Port William; God parents Anthony Nadeau and Lindsey Thies; great grandparents, Cheryl Younker of Reeseville, Ken and Diane Nance of Dayton, Norm and Linda Knoth of Clearwater, Florida, Beverly McNeese of Englewood, Ohio, and Joycelyn Edwards of Port William; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Oaklen is preceded in death by great grandparents, Michael Williamson, Sr., Art and Phyllis Edwards, Herb Younker, Bud McNeese, Windle and Sally Wallen, and Bud Clevenger; great aunts, Kristine Arnold and Kay George; and great uncles Mickey Wallen and James Cox. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church, 160 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Pastor David Van Hoose will officiate. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the church.
