Robert L. Hensley

Robert L. Hensley, age 60, of Wilmington, died Monday January 7, 2019 at his home.  He was born April 24, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Charles Edward and Alviena Alley Hensley.  Bob was a construction worker that enjoyed cars, gospel music, and rock and roll, but especially loved his family and grandchildren.  He is survived by two sons, Jeff (Cassie) Hensley of Wilmington, and Brian Hensley of Hillsboro; mother Alviena Parker of Dayton; grandchildren, Jaylyn, Keely, and Aubrey Hensley; sister Elizabeth Hensley of Wilmington; brothers, Ed Hensley and Chuck Hensley both of Sabina; several nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles including a special aunt Sally Koons of Wilmington.  Bob is preceded in death by his father Charles E. Hensley and his son Jason Hensley.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Burial will follow in Clinton Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  For more information, or to sign our on-line register, please visit www.arehart-brown.com or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
