Shellie K. Tipton

Shellie K. Tipton, age 65, of Wilmington, died Thursday, May 17, 2018 at her home.  She was born June 16, 1952 in Lima, Ohio the daughter of the late Billie and Marthamae Smith McClain.  Shellie loved all forms of art, and especially loved drawing.  She loved her family and loved spending time with them.  She is survived by three children, Richard Joseph (Jennifer Cline) Otto of Wilmington, Paula Sue Garcia of Northville, Michigan, and Christine Fisher of Dayton; grandchildren, Eli Joseph Otto, Levi Joseph Otto, Logan Joseph Otto, Antonio Lee Garcia, and Jakob Alexander Garcia; sister Robin (Roger Dabe) Brothers of Wilmington; brothers, Donald (Vicki) Clemons of California and Dennis Lee Clemons of Mississippi; special friends Crystal Runnells and Roxanna Marlow; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister Kitty Jarrett.  Shellie has chosen to be cremated.  Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  For more information or to sign our on-line register, please visit www.arehart-brown.com or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
