Tonda "Toni" Kay (DeBoard) Bisig

Tonda (Toni) Kay Bisig, 62, of Wilmington, passed peacefully at Hospice of Cincinnati, Ohio on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

Born on July 17, 1956 in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Charles and Shirley Evans DeBoard.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy DeBoard. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Bisig; her son, Chad (Cassie) DeBoard of Vilas, NC; Step-sons Michael Bisig of Dayton and James (Kim) Bisig of Wilmington. 6 grandchildren (Cyan Joy DeBoard, Corrick DeBoard, Carrus DeBoard, Annalee Miller Stephen, Carter Bisig, Brooklyn Bisig). Siblings, Randy (Vicky) DeBoard of Wilmington, Tim (Julie) DeBoard of Lees Creek, Jeff DeBoard of New Vienna, Sherry (Scott) Gerber of Sabina, Charles (Sherry) DeBoard of Cincinnati, and Melinda DeBoard of Wilmington; several nieces and nephews.

She also leaves many other family members and friends that will deeply miss her.

She enjoyed being with her family and helping others. “Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shine down upon us to let us know they are happy.”

According to her wishes, Toni has been cremated.  A Memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16th  at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Her son, Chad DeBoard will officiate.  There will be one hour of visitation from 5:00p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
