Wade Darrell Brown, age 74, of Clarksville, died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Dayton Veterans Administration Hospice Center. He was born November 12, 1943 in West Liberty, Kentucky. Wade was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War and was retired from General Motors. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Blanchester, American Legion Post #49 in Wilmington, an avid woodworker, and a lifetime N.R.A. member. Wade’s family will remember him most for being a loving and supportive father and grandfather. He is survived by two sons, Darren and his wife Tina Brown of Wilmington, and Joel and his wife Noreen Brown of Maineville; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Bethanie, and Brooke; and sister Janie Burkitt of Springfield, Ohio. Wade is preceded by his mother Pearlie Brown. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Don Wahl of Faith Baptist Church will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial with Military Honors accorded by the American Legion Post #49 Honor Guard will follow in the Clarksville Cemetery.
