Wade Darrell Brown

Wade Darrell Brown, age 74, of Clarksville, died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Dayton Veterans Administration Hospice Center.  He was born November 12, 1943 in West Liberty, Kentucky.  Wade was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War and was retired from General Motors.  He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Blanchester, American Legion Post #49 in Wilmington, an avid woodworker, and a lifetime N.R.A. member.  Wade’s family will remember him most for being a loving and supportive father and grandfather.   He is survived by two sons, Darren and his wife Tina Brown of Wilmington, and Joel and his wife Noreen Brown of Maineville; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Bethanie, and Brooke; and sister Janie Burkitt of Springfield, Ohio.  Wade is preceded by his mother Pearlie Brown.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Don Wahl of Faith Baptist Church will officiate.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Burial with Military Honors accorded by the American Legion Post #49 Honor Guard will follow in the Clarksville Cemetery.  The family asks that Memorial donations be made to Faith Baptist Church, 7382 State Route 123, Blanchester, Ohio 45107.  For more information, or to sign our on-line register, please visit www.arehart-brown.com or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
