Wayde Slater Obituary

Wayde Allen Slater, age 51, of New Vienna, died Monday, April 30, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born November 28, 1966 in Catskill, New York the son of Seaford W. and Wendalyn DuBois Slater. He is preceded in death by his father, Seaford Slater, and aunts Flojean Vincent and Linda Graham. Wayde enjoyed fishing and working on cars with his father in the family mechanic business in New York. Wayde is survived by his mother and step-father Wendy Slater and Stephen Picone of New Vienna; cousin Duane Slater of Port William, Duane's children, Danniell and Bridget Slater; and uncle Kenny Vincent of Wilmington. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Prattsville, New York. The Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
