Alviena J. Parker, age 77, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. She was born February 20, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late David V. and Elizabeth (Davidson) Alley. Alviena had a love for many things, but especially loved crocheting, cooking, and baking. Her happiness and smile will be missed by her family whom she dearly loved. Alviena is survived by 5 children, Clarence Edward “Eddie” Hensley of Sabina, Elizabeth Hensley of Wilmington, Charles Hensley of Sabina, April Parker of Dayton, and June Parker of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Brian Hensley, LaTosha Buchanan, Billy Buchanan, Jeff Hensley, Stephanie Hensley, Stephen Hensley, Amber (Dewayne) Boysel, Ashley Hensley, and Antone Wheeler, Jr.; several great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; siblings, Sally Koons, Sharon Lawrence, Amy Ahrmann, and Herman Jones; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A special thank you to her caregiver Antone Wheeler. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Robert Hensley; brother Robert Alley; grandson Jason Hensley; and siblings Ellamae Lawrence and Sim Jones. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Burial will follow in Clinton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
