Alyssa Desiree Zammert, age 21, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 as the result of an automobile accident. She was born January 7, 2002, the daughter of Richard Clay and Tracy Lynn (Storer) Zammert. Alyssa was a 2020 graduate of Clinton Massie High School. She loved art, music, and dancing. She loved the “limelight” and the sparkle of an exciting life, she was a country girl with big city dreams. Alyssa was a person that loved to make people laugh, and she made sure to make all of her friends know that she cared about them. She truly was a person known as everyone’s friend. Alyssa is survived by her parents, Rick and Tracy Zammert; sister Tosha (Quentin) Aubry of Hillsboro; brother Jared (Colleen) Salisbury of Wilmington; one niece, Paisley; five nephews, Jackson, Carson, Johnny, Jaxon, and Dalton; maternal grandfather, James Storer and his wife Tina of Blanchester; paternal grandfather Art Zammert of Cincinnati; several aunts and uncles; many special cousins with whom she shared so many vacation adventures and fun-times with; lifelong friends, Kayla Caldwell, Mileigh Marshall, Kylee Hoffman, McKenzie and Mikhayla Carter, Elle and Emma Paul, Scottie, Julia and Alle Sowers, and Taylor Harris. Alyssa is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Sharon K. Storer, and her paternal grandmother Barbara Zammert. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Fellowship of Praise Church, 8625 US-22, Clarksville, Ohio 45113, Terry Urton and Pastor Matt Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Clarksville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. Following committal services, everyone is invited to the Wilmington Elks Lodge for food fellowship, and time with Alyssa’s family. Memorial donations, if desired, are directed to a fund to assist Alyssa’s niece and nephews further education. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
