Angela Henson

Angela Jane Henson age 51, of Wilmington, died June 11, 2019 at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.  She was born October 23, 1967, the daughter of William Stroop (deceased) and Linda Gunther Dennis.  In addition to her mother Linda Dennis, Angela is survived by her son, Shane Gilbert; sisters, Britta Hilterbrandt, Dodi McAllister, Morgan Gallagher & Katy Stroop; four nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and innumerable friends who will deeply miss her.

Angela inspired many people and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She developed many friendships through being active in groups within the community, attending First Church of God in Wilmington, and working Inside Sales at R&L Carriers.

Angela enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, thrift shopping and a good cup of coffee. 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Wilmington on Saturday June 22, 2019. There will be an hour of Visitation beginning at 1:00 pm with service following. 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shane M. Gilbert’s Custodial Account at Wright-Patt Credit Union. There will also be a basket for donations at the service.
