Anne M. Haubert, age 86, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Laurel’s of Blanchester. She was born July 29, 1935 in Strasburg, Ohio the daughter of the late Clyde and Bernice (Harriman) Bercaw. Anne had served as Deputy Auditor for the City of Wilmington, and later as Treasurer for the Clinton Massie School District. Anne is survived by two daughters, Jill (Dale) Middleton, and Julie (Dave Haddix) Schanda; son Jeff Haubert; six grandchildren, Richard Schanda, Kenneth (Allison) Schanda, Timothy (Heather Wallace) Schanda, Jeff (Rachael) Pace, Jared (Marie) Middleton, and Taylor Haubert; six great grandchildren, Kelsey Schanda, Andrew Middleton, Samantha Middleton, Michael Middleton, Sutton Pace, and Riley Schafer; and special friend Kay (Mike) Schmit. She was the last of her siblings. In addition to her parents and siblings, Anne is preceded in death by her husband Richard Haubert in 2008. All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Community Care Hospice, 1669 Rombach Avenue, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
