Annette Howard

Annette Howard, age 76, of South Vienna, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at the home of her daughter.  She was born July 24, 1947, the daughter of the late Elber and Ellarie (Eldridge) Hay.  Annette was a member and regular attendee of the V.F.W. on Columbus Avenue and the AmVets on Kenton Street in Springfield.    She was never known to have passed up a poker game.  Annette is survived by her daughter, Deanna (Brian Hinshaw) Hay of South Vienna; grandchildren Cynthia Anne Cook and Michael Cook; sisters Dot (Gary) Runyon of Springfield, and Judy Miller of South Webster; and brother Rick Hay of Northridge.  In addition to her parents, Annette is preceded in death by 7 siblings.  A Celebration of Annettes’s Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
