Barbara Bath Singleton Stone

Barbara Bath Singleton Stone, age 69, died peacefully at her home in Wilmington, Ohio on June 2, 2024, following a long illness of Diabetes complicated by heart disease. She is survived by her wife Leanne Stone whom she married June 15, 2019.

She was born April 14, 1955, daughter of the late Dr. H. Richard and Gwendolyn Bath. Barbara is survived by a brother Dr. Edwin (Leva) Bath, sister Jennifer (Dr. John) Hollon, brother-in-law Duane Stone and sister-in-law Kim Powell, as well as many nieces and nephews. She had no children but shared her love and caregiving to many feline pets whom she adored.

Barbara graduated from Wilmington High School in the class of 1973 and attended classes at the University of Dayton. For several years she was business manager of her late husband Phillip Singleton's Heating and Air Conditioning Business in Cincinnati. More recently she was a secretary for Wilmington City Schools at Holmes and Denver Place Elementaries.

She and Leanne loved to travel, and a favorite destination was to Aruba where they spent many happy vacations with friends on their annual trips.

Barbara had requested no calling hours, and a service will be held at the convenience of the family.
