Barrett Dale "Barry" Sexton

Barrett (Barry) Dale Sexton of New Vienna was born July 26, 1959, to Earl Eugene Sexton and Viola Nichols Sexton. He passed away peacefully at home Saturday August 17, 2024, at the age of 65. He loved God, his family, trains, eagles, fishing, singing and definitely loved his Country. He is a veteran of the Jefferson township Fire Dept., and Retired from ABX Air in Wilmington, OH after 27 years. He is survived by his wife Karen Jo (Cox) Sexton of 34 years of marriage. In addition, he is survived by his children, Brittnie (Paul) Thomas, Danielle (Shawn Hartley) Rowley, and son Joshua Littler. Grandchildren Seth Rowley, Brianna and Adalyn Thomas, and beloved pet Holly Jo, all of New Vienna, OH. Surviving siblings, Bev (Mike) Huber and Marty (Lyn) Sexton of Batavia, OH, Marsha (Michael) Kellerman of Leesburg, OH, and Tim (Carol) Sexton of Mt Orab, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Carl Sexton, Jeffrey Sexton, and sisters, Marilyn Sexton, Tina Sexton and Theresa Corrill, and In-laws Gene and Janet Cox.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Full Gospel Christian Assembly of God, 10055 SR 28, Blanchester, Ohio 45107.  Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the church.  There will be no public admittance until 2:00 p.m.
