Bettie Jean Purtee

Bettie Jean Purtee, age 55, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. She was born November 19, 1968 in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of the late Larry Gene and Bettie Mae (Allen) Purtee. Bettie was an 1987 graduate of East Clinton High School and was currently employed at Pennant Moldings, Inc. in Sabina. She loved to shop, the color purple, and adored cats and penguins. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Patty Sue (Rod) Jelliffe of Morrow, Regina (Roger) Spencer of Wilmington, and Brenda (Terry) Pauley of Xenia; her long time companion, Nick Raike of Greenfield; and her many work friends at Pennant Moldings. In addition to her parents, Bettie is proceeded in death by her siblings, Danny Ray Dodge and Deborah Ann Purtee. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until services begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
