Billy Eugene "Mac" McClughen

Billy Eugene “Mac” McClughen, 79, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Clinton Memorial Hospital with family by his side. Bill was born to the late James Wilson McClughen and the late Eula Mae (Blank) McClughen on June 1, 1943. He grew up in Seaman, Ohio before moving to Dayton, Ohio where he worked for Dayton Press for the first half of his working years. He later moved to Wilmington where he worked as a janitor for Wilmington City Schools before retiring in 2005. Bill was an easy-going man who enjoyed the simple things in life including his family, music, and sports.

Bill is survived by his wife Donna (Garrison) McClughen, and daughters Hannah Moore, Mary (Joseph) Smith, Julie (Joseph) Surharski, and his grandchildren Presley Sophia Surharski, Josie Surharski, and Theodore Surharski. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Robert McClughen and sister Betty Siders. Bill will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones. A private graveside service will be held for family.  Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
