Brenda Arlene (Sheets) Frye

Brenda Arlene (Sheets) Frye, age 75, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at home with family by her side. She was born May 24, 1948 in Tunnelton, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Glenn and Enid Lucille (Grimm) Sheets. Although Brenda spent the bulk of her life in Central Florida she was very proud of her West Virginia roots. Brenda was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church in Clarksville and she was retired as an associate of Walmart after 20 plus years. She enjoyed to play bingo, card games and dearly loved her pet dog, Sam. Brenda loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. She was always a positive person and the rock of her family. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Ennette (Chuck) Rowe and Angela (Dean) DuBose; grandchildren, Ashley (Drew) Ballinger, Joshua Frye, Brittany Rowe, and Christopher Rowe; her siblings, Sue (Bob), Wanda (Frank), Sheila, Bobby (Susie), Mary, and Kathy (Jeremy); and her loving dog, Sam. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by a daughter, Connie; brother, Glenn; and sisters Glenna and Vickie. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday June 30, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery, Tunnelton, West Virginia will be the following day, Saturday July 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m..
