Brian Fulton "Shaggy" Frye

Brian Fulton “Shaggy” Frye, age 34, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2022, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  He was born April 12, 1988, in Lemoore, California.  Brian loved playing video games, but Play Station only, and was an avid Ryan Reynolds fan.    He was a jokester and loved to make people laugh, he took a lot of pride in making  his mother-in-law laugh.  He loved to help people.  His friends were considered his brothers. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Renee (Morgan) Frye of Hillsboro; cousins, Nathan (Makesha) DeLong, Kari Miley, and Shana DeLong; parents-in-law, Robert and Barbara Colwell of Lynchburg; brother-in-law Joseph Cody Doughman of Lynchburg; grandparents David and Lucy Allen of Sabina; uncles, Robert Stackman of Sabina and Rick Stackman of New Jersey; best friends, (brothers), Christopher “Biggy” Tanner, Taylor Callender, and David Ward; and gal friends, Brandy Foster and Tiffany Gabbard.  He is preceded by his father Donald Frye, Sr., and best friend and best man in his wedding, Joey Dawson.  Services will be announced.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
