Bruce Lane Hardin, age 69, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Clinton memorial Hospital. He was born November 16, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late James Thurston and Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Hardin. Bruce loved watching movies, fishing and just about any sport. He was av avid follower of football and the Cleveland Browns. He loved classic cars, doing carpentry work, beer, the “ladies”, and some good ole Rock and Roll. Bruce is survived by three children, Amber LeAnn (Dennis Canterberry) Klitz, Amy (Jeremy) Voyles, and Alex James Hardin; grandchildren, Mary Suzanne Klitz, Janis Lenore (Marcus Lindasy) Klitz, Gavin Canterberry, Paige Marie Neal, and Tristian Allen Voyles; great grandchild, Evan Ian Scott Lindasy; brothers, James Kent Hardin and Timothy W. (Sonia) Hardin; aunts, Joan (Dale) Dakin, Virginia Hill, Charlotte (Bob) Lucas, and Janice (Elmer) Powell; former wife Karen Sue (Rogers) Hardin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends. In addition to his parents, Bruce is preceded in death by former wife Marlisha (McKnight) Hardin; significant other Theresa Rogers; aunts, Alberta Hoak, and Mabel Walker; uncles, Howard Brown, Sam Brown, and Kenneth Brown; and nephew Shawn Michael Hardin. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home, 237 W. Main Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
