Cameron Glenn Vaughan, age 23, passed away on March 22, 2022, in Wilmington, Ohio. Cameron was born January 4, 1999, in Dayton, Ohio the son of Bryan and Polly (Schumaker) Vaughan. He graduated from Clinton Massie High School in 2017 and went on to attend Wilmington College, where he studied Agriculture. He graduated with Honors from Wilmington College in 2019. Cameron was a student at Iowa State where he was pursuing his Master's Degree in Seed Business and Technology. He was a 10-year member of the Liberty Livestock 4-H Club and showed hogs at the county, state, and national level. Cameron continued to serve his community as a mentor and supporter of county and state fairs. His passions for agriculture fueled his daily life. Cameron used that passion to build a successful show pig operation that served the 4-H community across several states. He was proud to tell you he was a farmer, just like many farm kids, he got his start early by riding in the combine and tractors as a infant in his car seat with all the men he admired most. As a toddler, we joked he was a professional carpet farmer, Uncle Super Dave built him Gurneyville Grain farm scape to mimic his Grandfather Wilburs farm. Cameron was a kind, loving, gentleman, whose warmth was felt by those who knew him as a son, brother, mentor, neighbor and friend. Cameron loved unconditionally, gave generously without expecting anything in return. Cameron is survived by his parents, Bryan and Polly Vaughan of Wilmington; sister Alex of Wilmington; grandparents, Roger and Priscilla Vaughan of Wilmington; grandmother Marcia Farmer of Wilmington; his best friend Bailee Walters and many family & friends. Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at New Burlington Cemetery.
