Carmen Ann (Roberson) Hayes, age 77, was called home Friday, February 21, 2025. She was born February 17, 1948, in Wilmington, Ohio, to the late Fred H. and Alice (Cassell) Roberson.
Carmen lived in Lebanon, Ohio, for many years where she raised her family and pursued a career in telecommunications. She worked in telecommunications for 40 years before retiring from Centurylink. She also lived a brief time in Bellefontaine, Ohio, before settling in Sidney, Ohio.
Carmen was an avid reader who collected books and loved a good mystery / thriller or a good romance novel. She also loved to crochet and would often make things for her family and friends.
She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandma, auntie, cousin, and friend. She was always willing to help the people she loved and always had a sound word of advice. She will be greatly missed by her family and close friends.
Carmen is survived by her children, Christopher Eric Hayes of Xenia, Ohio, and Kara Hayes of Dublin, Ohio; her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Kasi Hayes of Norway, Iowa, Quincy (Jenna) Frisco of Tennessee, and Lauryn (Blake) Frisco of Columbus, Ohio; great grandchildren, Kohen and Lennox Becker, Aubrey Harrington, and two more great grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Anthony (Kathy) Roberson of Sacramento, California, Gayle (Eddie) Moody of Wilmington, Ohio, Cindy Wardlow of Wilmington, Ohio, and Joni Roberson of Sacramento, California; several nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends, Sharon and Vic.
Carmen was met at those pearly gates with open arms by her daddy Fred, mom Alice, baby sister Lisa J. Roberson, nephew David Roberson, and special cousin Ralphie Harding.
