Carol Ann (Hamilton) Mountjoy

Carol Ann Mountjoy, age 66, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.  She was born January 9, 1955 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Roy and Daisy (Morris) Hamilton.  Carol enjoyed playing cards, and playing on-line Bingo.  She is survived by three sons, Shane Mountjoy, Luke Mountjoy, and Jed Mountjoy, all of Martinsville; grandsons, Jaysun, Charles, Austin, and Preston; great granddaughter Nova Mountjoy, and one great grandchild on-the-way; sisters, Bonnie (Robert) Stone of Hillsboro, Hazel (Tony) Smith of Hillsboro, and Dorothy (Marty) Priest of Wilmington; brothers, Will Hamilton of Owensville, Ohio, and Burdett Hamilton of Hillsboro; numerous other extended family; and many friends.  In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Mountjoy; sister Eileen Christensen; and brother, Harry Morris.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Burial will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F.
