Carol Sue (Boring) Shaw, age 80, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully in her home Monday Morning, October 11, 2021. Sue was born June 12, 1941 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Guy W. and Lucille E. (Adams) Boring. She was a graduate of North Eastern High School in Springfield. Sue had worked at Gentile Air Force Base, and Wilmington College, before retiring from the Clinton County National Bank. She was known as a woman with a giving heart and warm hugs. Sue was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a fighter, strong and dedicated. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed but leaves a tremendous legacy of love and service. Sue is survived by two children, son Keith Douglas Inwood, and daughter Pamela Sue and her husband Brian Lieurance, all of New Vienna; a cherished granddaughter Ryann Elizabeth Lieurance; brother Clyde and his wife Kim Boring of Tampa, Florida; and in-laws Joyce Inwood of Fairborn, Dick and his wife Judie Inwood of Miamisburg, and Ann Applegate of Canton. In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by two husbands, Willard Douglas Inwood, and most recent, Frank E. Shaw; sister Norma Sherwood, brother Richard Boring; and in-laws, Dale and Bonnie Inwood, Charles David Inwood, and Wally Applegate. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, 237 W. Main Street, Wilmington, Ohio, 45177. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in Maple Grove Cemetery in Port William.
