Carolyn Lewis, age 75, of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Continental Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Blanchester. She was born March 5, 1946 in Clinton County, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Cooper) Smith. Carolyn is survived by children, Kim (Tom) Milnickel of Blanchester, Steve (Juanita) Lewis of Clarksville and Angie Stanforth of Roanoke, Virginia; grandchildren, Merissa (Austin) Hauptstueck, John Paul “JP” Flexner, Jason (Shauna) Flexner, and Danielle Bolser; great grandchild Arya Mae; nephew Mike Vandervort; and cousin Sharon Cooper. In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by one son, Rodney Lewis; and sister Phyllis Vandervort. A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Villar’s Chapel, 3852 W. State Route 350, Wilmington. Burial will take place at a later date in Springfield Friends Cemetery, Clarksville. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
