Cathy Ann (Rose) Fox

Cathy Ann (Rose) Fox, age 66, of the New Antioch community, passed away Monday June 19, 2023 in the comfort of her home. She was born June 12, 1957 in Wilmington, the daughter of Lonnie and Thelma (Maddy) Rose. Cathy loved being at home in the country, tending to her flower gardens and her dogs, Reba and Sonic. She very much enjoyed thrift shopping, reading and snow around the Christmas holiday. Cathy loved her family very much, as they did her... anything they did she cheered them on as their biggest fan. She was the epitome of the perfect wife and mother for her family. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Earl J. Fox, to whom she married on July 3, 1976; two sons, Matthew Earl (Carrie) Fox and Mark Christopher Fox , both of Wilmington; her mother, Thelma Rose of Hillsboro; siblings, David (Robyn) Rose of New Vienna and Amy Jo (TJ Perkins) Rose of Clarksville; and many cousins and good friends who she loved spending time with. Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Rose. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday June 27, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home in Wilmington. Visitation(s) will be Monday evening, June 26, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Immediately following services, burial will take place in the New Antioch Cemetery. Elder Joseph Humphries will officiate. Memorial contributions in Cathy's memory may be directed to Queen City Hospice, 4605 Duke Dr.- Suite 220, Mason Ohio 45040 as a gift for their loving care.
