Cecil Ray Ratliff

Cecil Ray Ratliff, age 75, of Washington C.H., passed away October 8, 2023, at Court House Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born November 3, 1947, in Ironton, Ohio the son of the late John and Beatrice (Simmons) Ratliff.  Cecil was Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War, he was a member of the V.F.W. Honor Guard, an avid follower of the Ohio State Buckeyes, enjoyed golf and woodworking, and was known to karaoke and share his vocal skills.  He also travelled with his good friend Bobby Gentry to many High School athletic events.  Cecil is survived by his son, Scott (Donna) Ratliff of Washington C.H.; daughter Jody McGraw of Washington C.H.; grandchildren, Tyler Ratliff of Washington C.H., Jalen (Courtney) Ratliff of Jeffersonville, and Cory McGraw of Wellington, Florida; great grandchildren, Branson, Griffin, and Elijah; siblings, Mary (Keith) Saxton of Washington C.H., Don (Bonnie) Ratliff of Mt. Sterling, and Ron (Katie) Ratliff of Mt. Sterling; and many friends.  In addition to his parents, Cecil is preceded in death by one brother, Mike Ratliff.  A memorial service was held Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Washington Court House V.F.W. Post 3762.
