Clarence Edward "Ed" Hensley

Clarence Edward “Ed” Hensley, age 63, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022. He was born April 14, 1959, in Clinton County, the son of the late Charles E. and Alviena Jane (Alley) Hensley. Ed had worked for many years for the city of Wilmington. He was a master woodcrafter, able to build anything from a picture frame, to a home. Ed was all about his family, whom he loved very much. He is survived by his children, Stephen (Ginny) Hensley, Stephanie Liming, and Amber Williams; several grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth Hensley and Charles “Chuck” Hensley; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by two children, Jeremy and Justin Rosenwirth.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20,2022, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
