Clifford Eugene Jones, age 94, of New Vienna, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was born February 28, 1932, in Washington Court House, Ohio, the son of the late Isaac and Flossie (Jordan) Jones and was a drafted Veteran in the United States Army, proudly serving his Country in Germany and Korea from 1952 until 1954. Clifford had retired from General Motors- Harrison Radiator after 36 years of service and then did construction work for several years for Oris Fields- Ohio Mutual Insurance. Always one to keep busy, Clifford then drove a school bus for East Clinton Schools for over 15 years before he finally started enjoying his retirement life. He will be missed dearly by all his family and friends. Clifford is survived by his daughter, Saundra (Mike) Shutts of Leesburg; his son, Clifford L. (April) Jones of New Vienna; grandchildren, Aaron (Donna) Shutts of Virginia, Adam Shutts of Florida, Travis Jones of Greenfield, Erica (Jeff) Reed of New Vienna, Chelsy (Quinten) Jackson of Blanchester, Zak (Imari) Hough of West Carrollton, Hallie (PJ Cook) Jones of Blue Ash, Abbi (Claudio Rodriguez) of Massachusetts, Myah (Colby Hurd) Jones of Maine, and Jozie (Jay Jackson) Jones of Columbus; great grandchildren, Allison (James Shephard) Jones, Kaleigh Shutts, Cheyenne Reed, Brogan Shutts, Camden Jones, Lydia Jackson, Renee Hough, Jeffrey Reed III, Hoyce Jackson, Zahana Hough, Aaralyn Williams, Claudio Rodriguez III, Sophia Rodriguez, and Caius Cook; great-great grandchildren, Evelyn and Elysia Shephard; two brothers, Dan Jones of Tennessee and Roy Jones of Moraine; and several nieces and nephews. Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Flossie Jones; his wife, Betty Jones; an infant daughter, Beverly L. Jones; sisters, Eleanor Jones and Middie Minnish; and his brothers, Carl Jones, Dick Jones, Jack Jones, George Jones and Lloyd Jones.
