Connie P. Noel

Connie P. Noel, age 81, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at Hospice of Butler and Warren County in Middletown.  She was born April 11, 1945, in Ashville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Pearl and Helen Lorinda (Ward) Kennedy.  Connie was a 35-year employee of Wal-Mart, she had worked as Department Manager of the Women’s Department, then was a greeter, who always greeted everyone with a smile.  She was ornery and loved to laugh and giggle.  Connie loved to shop, and go out to eat.  In her younger years, she was very crafty and creative and loved to make trinkets to sell, especially during the holidays.  Connie’s husband was a Harness Racing horse trainer, she was a regular at the stables and helped him any way she could.  Connie is survived by her daughter Lorinda (Chris Purdin) Noel of Wilmington; nieces Vicky (Paul) Ward of Ashville, and Misty (Jason) Parker of Circleville; nephew Brian (Tammy) McAllister of Circleville; brothers Ralph Kennedy of California and Gary Kennedy of Circleville; sister-in-law Judy Bauguess of Circleville; and many friends including her Wal-Mart family.  In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded by her husband Ronald “Ron” Noel; sisters Wilma and Mary; and Brothers Jim and Jack.  Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Highlawn Cemetery, 3260 US-22, Washington Court House, Ohio, 43160.  There will be no visitation.  Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook Page, Brown Funeral Home.
