Dana Rae Bays, age 34, daughter of Martha “Pinky” Bays and Richard “Rick” Bays was born September 12, 1986, and has gone home to be with her Lord on Friday, July 23, 2021. She is survived by her parents; daughter Kylee Raelynn Bays; sons Jesse Ray Webb, Jr. and Jayce Julian Webb; her fiancé, father of her children, best friend, and love of her life, Jesse Ray Webb, Sr.; Jesse’s father Larry Webb and brother Josh Webb who is graciously being a huge support to Dana’s family; sisters Jodi Bays of Wilmington, Amy Simonton of Cedarville, Billie Markel of Wilmington, Melanee (Eddie) Canup of Riverside, and many others who grew up in our home as family. You all know who you are. Maternal grandfather Roy Bradley of London, Ohio; aunts Marilyn Akers, Jannette Payne, and Jannell Bradley; uncles Mark Bradley and Marlin Bradley; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dana is preceded in death by her sister Julie Bays; brother Ryan Scot Pleukharp; paternal grandfather Virgil Bays; maternal grandmother Patsy Bradley; aunt Karen Clark; and maternal great grandparents Albert and Hazel Hawke. Dana was a happy-go-lucky family-oriented person, gone way too soon as those who have gone before her. She had many struggles in her life. But like her mama, and with Jesse by her side, along with their three children, all struggles were overcome. Then God had other plans, Dana was called home with the promise of salvation, and His return for others as He sees fit, for that glorious reunion in Heaven when we will all laugh and love together again. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
