Daniel Edward "Danny" Jackson
Daniel Edward Jackson entered into eternal peace from the generational family homestead in Lumberton where he was a lifetime resident only a short time after his father went home to heaven. We deeply feel that Dan's grief and heartbreak from loss of Del is what took him from us and his earthly life and has entered his heavenly home eternally reunited with Mom and Dad as well as very close grandparents that went before him. Born in August of 1957 in Wilmington, Ohio. He Graduated Wilmington High School and worked at Airborne Express after graduation. Preceded in death by his father Delford Jackson in 2025 and mother Ruby Jackson (Nichols) in 2004 and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Survived by sisters; Delinda Eakins (Alan) of Kettering; Darcie Seedes (Jeff) of Beavercreek and several nephews, cousins. Dan had a very generous and giving heart and would help anyone in need. Very simplistic natured and was just happy being home and with family. He had a one of a kind sense of humor and was often misunderstood by others. Brought up in Lumberton United Methodist Church and in later years attended Wilmington Church of God. Some of Dan's hobbies were sport of baseball which he loved and would often play the game himself in his earlier years, a huge collector of books and was a lifelong avid reader. Most favorite were of Christian base and of Biblical nature. He loved music of all genres and also collected with a favorite being country and Christian. Dan had a love of anything country and western and would usually be seen in his early years with his many cowboy hats and boots and western shirts he collected from trips around the U.S. traveling with family. A Celebration of Daniel’s Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Wilmington Church of God. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Port William will be private at the convenience of the family. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
