David Alan Green

David Alan Green, age 55, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital.  He was born July 20, 1966 in Wilmington the son of the late Richard William and Vivian (Peyton) Green.  David was a Veteran of the United States Air Force,  and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he loved playing the lottery and visiting casinos.  He is survived by siblings, Karin (Dr. Tim) Harris of Bloomington, Illinois, Terri (Marque) Jones of Wilmington, and Janet (Mark Deaton) Green of Newport, Kentucky; along with several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and many friends.  In addition to his parents, David has lost a brother and sister-in-law Richard William Jr. “Rick” and Pam Green.  Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held simultaneously with his father Richard William Green at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Dr. Timothy Mark Harris will officiate.  American Legion Post #49 Honor Guard will accord Military Honors.  Visitation for David and Richard will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will take place later in the Dayton V.A.
