David Edwin Robinson, age 53, of New Vienna, died peacefully November 8, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He was born January 31, 1967 in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of Lester and Mildred (Burns) Robinson. David was a big-hearted guy with an infectious laugh. He always had a smile on his face. David loved everything about horses, four wheelers, and farming. He was a truck driver and drove for Melvin Stone and his brother, Bill Burns. He had also worked for Dave Chaney Tire in Wilmington, Best One in Wilmington and Hillsboro, and Bobby Groves in Wilmington. David is survived by his wife, Sarah K. (Puckett) Robinson; three children, Elias, Isaiah, and Kayden Robinson; siblings, Wendell (Carol) Robinson of Vandalia, Charles (Michelle) Burns of Fairborn, Tim (Cecile) Burns of Wilmington, Bill (Sandy) Burns of New Vienna, Dale (Veronica) Robinson of New Vienna, and Martha (James) Jenkins; special friends Richard Keech, Eddie Vinup and Ryan Vinup; and many cousins nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by two infant brothers. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Wilmington Church of God, 100 R. Gordon Drive, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Facial coverings and social distancing is strongly recommended. In accordance to his wishes, David will be cremated after services, and be buried with his father in the Gist Settlement Cemetery. Time and date of that service will be announced at a later date.
