Debra Ann (Wallen) Edwards

Debra Ann (Wallen) Edwards, age 69, of Wilmington, died Tuesday February 8, 2022, at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio. She was born October 9, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of the late Windle Arlie and Sally Ann (Randolph) Wallen. Deb was a member of the Wilmington Church of God, where she spent alot of time preparing food for events and assisting in the food pantry. Whether feeding her loving family or making catering trips twice a year to Indiana, with sister Jeanie, Deb was known as an excellent cook and the type of person that would do anything for anybody. Deb loved her family deeply and she was deeply loved. Deb leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years, John "Big John" Edwards of Wilmington; two sons, Jason Andrew (Amanda Katherine) Edwards and Charles Evan Edwards both of Port William; grandchildren Skyla Lynn, Carson Adam, John Glenn, Parker Allen, Gage Adam, Charlie Krystina, Lexie Lee, Alexis Marie, Clayton Tayler, Brooklyn Lewis, Michael and Noah; siblings, Vickie Lynn (Ron) Kendall of Sabina, Lois Evelyn Patton of Wilmington, Jeanie (Elvin) Shelton of Wilmington, and Jo (Artie) Kroener of Lebanon; special friends, Connie (Mike) Nielsen and Lynn (Dale) Gerard; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Deb is preceded in death by her parents Windle and Sally Wallen; sister, Kay George; brother, Mickey Wallen, and grandson, Oaklen Edwards. Visitation and Services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Wilmington Church of God, 100 R. Gordon Drive, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon at the church. Pastor Rich Boll will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William, immediately following service. Friends are asked to return to the church to share food and fellowship following the burial.
