Donald Lee Davis, Sr.

Donald Lee Davis Sr., age 64, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the home of his son in Dayton, with family by his side.  He was born August 19, 1958, the son of the late Donald Ray and Constance “Connie” (Damron) Davis. Donald had lived in Wilmington for the last 11 years after moving from Williamsburg.  He loved to fish and hunt, and watch Me T.V.  He was a proud member of the North America Hunting Club, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.  Donald is survived by seven children, Christina Marie Lindsey, Donald Lee Davis, Jr., Daniel Ray (Dezaraya) Davis, Vanessa Lynn Davis, Darlene Denise Davis, Michael Brandon Davis, and Dakota Davis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Donna Wenker, Dennis Davis, Denise (Mike) Hensley, Angie (Travis) Lynch, and David Davis.  Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will take place later at the convenience of the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
