Dora Mae Sholler, age 78, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. She was born June 7, 1943 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Daniel and Pearl Lucille (Riley) Conger. Dora was a 1961 Graduate of Martinsville High School, and a lifetime member of the Wilmington V.F.W. Post 6710, Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family, especially grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Dora is survived by two sons, George A. (Debbie) Sholler of Wilmington, and Anthony “Tony” (Karen) Sholler of Sabina; grandchildren, Tiffany (Josh) Hampton of New Vienna, Nicholas Sholler of Charlotte, N.C., Erica (Brandon) Richardson of Wilmington, Jamie (Cody) Williams of Reesville, Ashley (William) Childers of Wilmington, Thomas (Courtney) Sholler III of Lynchburg, Eric (Olga) Crowe of Maineville, and Jordan (Josh) Crowe of Milford; great grandchildren, Madison, Jevin, Brooklynn, Lucas, Liam, Briana, Lexi, Kenna, Leon, Haylee, Yuiana, and Elana; sisters, Ann Willison of Sabina and Mary Pope of Sabina; and brothers, Jimmy (Connie) Conger of Sabina, and Ben (Mary) Conger of Wilmington. In addition to her parents, Dora is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sholler I; son Thomas Sholler II; great grandsons Justin Hampton and Jeremiah Hampton; and brother David Conger. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
