Elizabeth Jane (Ross) Cummins

Elizabeth Jane (Ross) Cummins, 41, of Wilmington, died at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton on April 13, 2023. She was born August 30, 1981 in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of Jamie J. Ross and Lolita Jane (Storer) Ross. Elizabeth had loved many things that life had to offer, including horses, pizza and video games. She also enjoyed the many simple things that are taken for granted, such as shopping, hiking, fishing and the busy time around the Christmas holiday. But above all she loved her family very much and was the type of person to give the shirt off her back for anyone. Elizabeth is survived by her fiance, King S. Owens of Wilmington; two children, Ashton Cummins of South Lebanon, and Gabrielle Cummins of Leesburg; father, Jamie J. Ross (Leann Kay Nance) of Sabina; mother and step father, Lolita Jane (Charles) Wells of Wilmington; sister, Tabitha Ross (Lavelle Warner) of Wilmington; grandmother, Clara Gordon of Martinsville; uncles, Brian Storer of Clarksville, and Jay Gordon of Blanchester; and nieces and nephews, Kyra Huston, Chloe Gordon, Kailey Storer, Nathan Gordon and Alex Gordon. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Edward Storer; paternal grandparents, James H. and Gladys A. Ross; and aunts, Kerry Lynch, Margaret Ann Shoemaker and Shannon Cummins. Funeral Services will be held 4:30 p.m., Friday April 21, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home in Wilmington. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
