Frank Alimando Crable, age 56, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at his home with family by his side. He was born January 18, 1966 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Chester D. and Betty Jane (Holycross) Crable. Frank was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved to play guitar and sing, loved to cook, and was known to have played a few scratch off tickets. His favorite quote or saying was, “Fa getta bout it”. He was an avid follower of the San Francisco 49ers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. More than anything else, he loved his family. Frank is survived by his wife Marcia (Merritt) Crable; children, Sheree (Adam) Hartbarger of New Carlisle, Matthew Crable of Wilmington, Jonathon Crable of Kettering, and Makayla Ferrence of Wilmington; grandchildren, Makenzie and Malachi; much more family, and many friends. In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by a sister; and his grandparents. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church, 160 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. David Van Hoose will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the church. The American Legion Post #49 Honor Guard will accord Military Honors at 5:00 p.m. Friday, at the church in recognition of Frank’s service to our country.
