Gregory Thomas Adams

Gregory Thomas Adams, age 71, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday May 11, 2024, at Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wilmington. Gregory was born August 1, 1952, the son of the late Thomas and Emma Lou (Curl) Adams, Jr., in Washington Court House, Ohio. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and had earned an associate's degree in engineering. Among his interests were drumming, old rock and roll music, old cars, sports and standard bred horse racing. He loved to travel and spend time camping, hiking, and fishing with his grandchildren. Gregory was a "wheeler dealer", a history buff, and was saved, having accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Gregory leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Pamela Sue (Lunsford) Adams; sons, Clinton Thomas Adams and Bradley Eric Adams; grandchildren, Hannah Lou Adams, Cheyanne Sue Adams, Aiden Robert White - Adams and Aliyah Daniele Woods; sister, Melinda Lou Hall; brother, Zackory C. Adams; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by an infant son, Derek Thomas Adams. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 noon, Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Burial will follow immediately at New Antioch Cemetery with Military honors being accorded by the American Legion Post #49 Honor Guard of Wilmington. Visitation will be at 10:00 until services start at 12:00 noon on Thursday at the funeral home.
