Helen Joyce (Felts) Passarge

Helen Joyce Passarge, 87, transitioned to her heavenly home peacefully of natural causes, with her husband and daughter at her bedside in Wilmington, Ohio, October 20th, 2021.  A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at a later date, still to be determined.

Helen was born on December 28th, 1933, in Corbin, KY to Willie and Addie Felts. She married her husband John Passarge on March 20th,1982 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father and mother. Five brothers Delbert (Mae) Felts, Hobert Felts, William Ray Felts, Eulis (Ruth) Felts, and Loyd Felts (who died in infancy) and three Sisters Edna Felts, (who died when she was 8), Juanita Felts (who died in infancy), Zelma Felts (who died in infancy and many other loved ones.

Helen was a faith filled woman, always taking care of others. She worked at several jobs outside the home, RCA, Fisher Body, and Avon where she always excelled. Her love for children led her to do childcare for many years, and they were all her babies. She and John have taken a few people into their home back in the day, who needed a place to get back on their feet, they did home ministry, and so many other things that they were called to do. She loved her family and friends and never met a stranger and she loved family time and holiday gatherings.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Passarge, Wilmington OH., Son, Martin(Bev) Lewis, Clearwater, FL.; Daughter, Phyllis Lewis Trosper, Prattville, AL.; Son, Brian(Jenny) Passarge, Wilmington, OH and Son, Bradley(Kelli) Passarge, Columbus, OH.

8 Grandchildren, Wendi(Matt) Squier, Joy(Moses) Grimaldo, Allison Eckhart, Alexander Eckhart, Daniel(Ashly) Passarge, Jenna(Cameron) Fields, Jeff Passarge, Haley Passarge and 12 Great Grandchildren.
