Ina Bell (Amburgy) Taylor, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Born on July 22, 1933 in Larose, KY, she lived a long and meaningful life defined by faith, devotion, and service to others. She was the heart of her family and a beautiful example of kindness, grace, and unwavering love.
Her greatest joy was her family. She dedicated her life to caring for those she loved, creating a home filled with warmth, faith, unconditional love and support. She had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and deeply cared for.
Her faith was the foundation of her life. She served her church faithfully for many years, offering her time, talents, and compassion wherever there was a need. Whether through prayer, service, or simple acts of kindness, she lived her beliefs daily and inspired others by her example.
She will be remembered for her strength, her generous spirit, and the steady love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the values she instilled in her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life for fifty eight years, Donald Chester Taylor, her beautiful daughter, Shelia Lynn Grisham, her mother Effie Marie (Spencer) Amburgy, her father Cuba Lee Amburgy, her brothers Russell, Willard, Earl and Virgil Amburgy, her sisters Jean Souther, Eula Dare, Sue Johnson, Rose Bailey and her twin sister Ona Shaw.
She is survived by her daughter, Tonya (Jeff) Nahrup, Wilmington, OH, her son-in-law Larry Grisham, Cleveland, TN, her grandchildren, Heath (Kristen) Grisham, Cleveland, TN, Dustin (Renee) Louderback, Austin, TX, Seth Grisham, Austin, TX, Lacee (Tim) Mooney, Austin, TX along with 7 great grandchildren, her sister, Linda (John) Grooms, brother, Bob (Mona) Amburgy, sister-in-law Elizabeth Amburgy and brother-in-law Therman Bailey.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Jan. 24 at noon at the Lebanon New Freedom Church, 840 Miller Rd, Lebanon, OH45036.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lebanon New Freedom Church or Hospice of Middletown in Ina Taylor's honor.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
