Jack Kenneth Frye

Jack Kenneth Frye, age 73, passed away June 3, 2023 at Continental Manor in Blanchester, Ohio. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 8, 1949 the son of Jack L. and Marian Kendall Frye. Jack volunteered and served his country in the United States Army from 1970 through 1976 achieving the rank of Captain. During this time he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division and was trained as a Combat Medic Specialist. Jack was also a graduate of the Jungle Operations Training Center in the Panama Canal Zone, the 82nd Airborne Recondo School and from the NCO Academy. He had served as a watchman at the Wilmington House of Prayer, was a member of the Wilmington Chapter of Toastmasters, volunteered at Sugartree Ministries, and most recently, had worked at the Clinton County Adult Day Center. Jack was also an artist who created various artwork for special community events. He is survived by his older sister, Jeanne Huisjen of Reed City, Michigan; nephew, Jeff Huisjen of Farmington, New Mexico; nephew, Dan Huisjen of Grand Haven, Michigan; and a younger sister, Robyn Duecher of Edgerton Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Faith Family Church, 64 Williams Road, Wilmington, Ohio. Interment at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, will be at a later date. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
