Jackie Edward “Jack” Carpenter, age 75, of New Vienna, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio. He was born May 22, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Ova Eugene and Almeda Ruth (Fink) Carpenter. He was a truck driver and had driven for Cox Paving for many years. He is survived by four children, Robert E. Johnson of New Vienna, Paul G. Johnson of Washington C.H., Shane M. Carpenter of Wilmington, and Melissa A Carpenter of Wilmington; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Kathy Tone of Hillsboro; and several nephews. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Lee Carpenter and Howard Eugene Carpenter. All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
