James David "J.D." Franklin

James David “J.D.” Franklin, age 47, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.  J.D. was born April 21, 1972 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  He was a 1990 Graduate of Blanchester High School and had worked for Bloodhound Underground Utility Locaters.  J.D. was a hard-working, fun-loving family man.  He loved his family and his fur babies.  His job took him all across the United States where he made many friends.  J.D. is survived by his wife Tracy (Stewart) Franklin; parents, Robert and Elaine Burris of Blanchester; and children, Sr. Airman Caliope Z. Franklin, USAF, Kaitlyn Franklin, and Kara Franklin, all of Wilmington.  There will be no immediate services.  A Celebration of J.D.’s life will be held at a later date.
