James Michael Gahagan, age 60, of Wilmington, died unexpectedly February 10, 2023, in Texas. He was born March 21, 1962, in Shelby County, Tennessee the son of Barbara Gahagan. He was a member of the Wilmington Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was an over-the-road truck driver for 40-plus years, and loved to mechanic on old cars. He was a family man, and especially loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou (Greene) Gahagan; children Homer Wisecup, James Gahagan, Randy Wisecup, and Jasmine Gahagan; grandchildren, Ealynn Wisecup, Kash Wisecup Watson, Damien Davis, and Allyson Davis; siblings, Cindy (Mike) Renner, Eddie (Loretta) Fouse, Minor Reginald Fouse Jr., Tina March, and Sonja Fouse; and many friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Fouse, step-father Reginald Fouse Sr.; and sister Barbara Helen Fouse.
Funeral services will be 6:00 pm Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.
